I grew up in Kirkby. Westfield

In the Eighties and nineties we didn't have technology we just had fun playing outside with our mates playing football on westvale school Field We would often play golf on Kirkby Golf course I think my favourite place was Kirkby sports centre. There was a boxing gym, a running track, a bike track a bmx course. Two indoor five aside football picths 3 squash courts. 8 badminton court, a gym weight lifting room Does anybody remember the two big rocks by the bus stop. Then if you crossed the lights over county road you would get to brookfield school and the river Alt We also add in Westfield, the centre 70.
